TIPS FOR INSTALLATION:

  • Spray hairspray or mild spray-on adhesive inside of the grip and slide grip onto the handlebar before the spray dries; once the spray dries it will stick the grips onto the handlebar so they won't slide around or turn when operating the TwistLoc/twist style shifter
  • Alternatively, an air compressor can be used along with an air chuck to blow a layer of air between the grip and handlebar to facilitate getting a grip onto the bar
  • It is not recommended to use soapy water to slide the grips on except as a last resort as it provides the least secure bond to the handlebar, and it is more likely for the grip to rotate or slide around on the handlebar when soapy water is used to perform the grip install on the handlebars
