Sungrown in California in our 100% solar-powered factory, the Ripley SL celebrates decades of Ibis heritage - handcrafted carbon, clever engineering, and an obsessive passion for the ride. The result: a 5-pound rocket on wheels.

Combining 117mm of dw-link rear travel and 130mm up front, there’s no compromise on fun when the trail turns rough for riders who crave XC speed. Modern performance means thoughtful geometry, dialed Ibis STOW in-frame storage with meticulously designed bags, room for two bottles, and phenomenal levels of quality built in at every step at our in-house manufacturing facility.

• Built by Us Sungrown in California (Made in the USA). We build each Ripley SL in our Northern California factory. This gives us the utmost control, which enables us to hit remarkable frame strength, stiffness, and weight targets for this frame.
• Size Specific Everything Every rider deserves the same great ride feel, no matter their height or proportions. We use size-specific seat tube angles and suspension kinematics to bring incredible balance and speed to all size riders. Even chainstay length and bottom bracket height are tailored to each frame size.
• 5 Sizes We've added a third size in the middle of the bell curve to provide a fit that’s just right. With 80% of our riders falling between 5’5” and 6’0”, we introduced a new "extra-medium" size. The extra-medium now sits in the middle of our size range, while our size five remains the traditional XL.
• Internal Frame Storage Get that gear off your back and into your bike with our frame storage system. The latch operates effortlessly, even in cold, muddy conditions while wearing gloves. The door is water-resistant, rattle-free, and robust. We crafted a set of two internal bags for your snacks, tools, or whatever. We chose a manufacturing partner known for high-quality construction and PFAS free fabrics. 
• Integrated Swingarm Cable Guides The Ripley SL features neat and tidy derailleur and brake hose management. This allows for easy swingarm removal without disconnecting the brakes lines.
• DW-Link Suspension We continue to use the critically acclaimed dw-link suspension platform known for its efficient climbing and excellent downhill performance; it sets the standard for modern mountain bikes. Our size-specific kinematics make sure every size bike pedals amazing while still keeping things ferociously smooth on challenging trails.
• Burly 2.4 Tire Clearance You can run overbuilt, chunky tires or you can run light, big volume fast tires. Whatever you run, you’re not limited by width.
• 2x Bottle Clearance The Ripley SL has clearance for two water bottles inside the front triangle on frame sizes M–XL. The size small frame has room for a single tall bottle.
• Lifetime Warranty If it's our fault, we'll fix it. Simple as that.
